Sundays at 10.30am
We value highly the whole church coming together regularly to worship, to hear what God is saying to us, to be in His presence and to respond to Him. During these times we usually have some lively, relevant teaching centred in biblical truth and often have a time when people can be prayed for, and to break bread or take communion together.
We believe that the heart of worship is a whole-hearted devotion to God, born out of love for him and his ways and reflected in all of life. As a congregation we come together to celebrate the Father’s love; Jesus’ victory over wrong-doing, sickness, death and the power of evil; and the out-pouring of his life through the Holy Spirit. We seek to be sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit in our time together, creative in our responsiveness to God’s love and presence, and informal in style.
We have a strong worship team but are convinced that worship involves a response to God from the whole congregation and we encourage everyone to engage creatively. We also aspire to worship being a dialogue and an encounter with God. Under the oversight of the church’s leadership we encourage the release of the gifts of the Spirit and relevant contributions from any member of the congregation in our times together.
The Fellowship strongly believe that Children and Young People are a valuable part of our Church family. Children are encouraged to participate in worship during the first half our Celebration and then have their own PowerZone program for the rest of the morning, for more information please see the PowerZone section of this website.
